450 million per year to house some 5000 people who would otherwise be working, contributing to the economy and at least paying sales tax with maybe a miniscule percent receiving gov assistance in a location that offers an element of security that is entirely redundant... but it's mostly a publicity stunt and means to transfer federal money to don's pals and almost certainly to don himself. On the bright side, the dollar has dropped in value 10 percent, we've increased the cost and amount of us debt... and purely for lulz, the tariffs go back into effect in a week, possibly, who the fuck knows, oh, and the serial bankrupter is meddling/pressuring the federal reserve to lower interest rates, geniusly, along side tariffs.
