Im in my mid 20s and everyone I know who ends up having children, let along getting married end up being insufferable and plagued with weakness. Is this lack of a spine attributed to something new or has it always been like this?

im in that mental transition period between 20 and 30 and i sit every day and think of the way i acted in the past decade. behind all of that behavior was the idea that humanity will get better, and i should explore and meet people as much as i can to discover universal truths and help everyone including myself to live their best life

but after trying to do that i became disillusioned with human nature (for example the inability to organize on a mass scale around an ideal in a grassroots way) and now i think no amount of technological advancement will make the world better. people are mostly the same and mostly fucked, and the best thing i can do for myself is carve out a cuck corner and play a game of survival with a family.

so its a mentality that is switching to survival mode because i think you all are hopeless.
