There won't be any way to stop it other than expensive electronic warfare. All big events will have to occur indoors from now on. States will lose effective control of peripheral regions as police vehicles come under drone attack. Govts will respond by banning the import of drones, but the basic parts from which drones are made are cheap and multi-use so it will be impossible. We are entering the drone era of humanity.
