Lawyer here, it's actually literally a violation to kick black jurors off a jury without an articulable reason. During voir dire, you can throw white males off just by saying "nah fuck that guy" but if you want to reject a black juror you must demonstrate that they showed hostility or bias during your voir dire questioning.
You are only allowed two "peremptory" strikes against nonwhites before the above rule kicks in.
