>>5093894882012-2013 were the last years I was out at house parties almost every weekend, movies and videogames were starting to become shit, but there was still good stuff out there, these were the last good years.
>>509389722The 2020 lockdowns when everyone was playing CoD Warzone was comfy as fuck. This is evidence that no, we didn’t “just grow up”, but that the world and culture is actually shit because of judeo-Marxist psyops.
>>509389874The only good thing about 2016 was /pol/, after Trump won I literally got a job because internet and videogames were boring as fuck now. 2014-2015 was the “indie game era” simply because everything else was shit. This is when I went back and played every retro game I thought was good, and discovered it’s depressing and boring to go back and play them. You get at most 1-2 days of entertainment from them before it’s time to put them away.
Also oldfags love to talk about how stuff went to shit after 2001, but go look at the movies and videogames and culture from 01-08, it’s some of the best stuff out there. You can actually see the decline if you look at the top 100 grossing movies by year. In around 2011-13 shit starts getting sprinkled in, then 2014 and on it’s all shit mostly, with a few good ones sprinkled in.
It seems to line up with the generational divide pretty well, as the class of 2014 is one of if not the last millenial class.
