I got Lasik and it's pretty nice anon. You have nothing to worry about.
The only downside is sometimes my eyes get a little dry, but it's well worth not having to deal with glasses.
The most unexpected side effect is I can also now see how scummy the inside of my shower is so I am motivated to keep it clean.

Older folks use readers for farsightedness, which happens naturally with age. Lasik is for nearsightedness. IMO it's much better to be able to see at a distance clearly and only need readers when you're old for up-close stuff, than be stuck seeing everything past a few feet as a blur and then needing bifocals when you get older anyways.

Yup. People who get eye surgery have eyesight problems for the rest of their lives. Like dry eyes or they need reading glasses.

It's better off to just accept your nearsightness and just wear glasses. It's what all professionals do anyway, even the doctors doing your eyes.

Moving eyes up and down, left and right doing both, holding each as long as you can and as far as you can, and moving quickly one side to the other back and forth. Also those "glasses" i mentioned and quitting normal glasses/contacts completely as those basically makebit so your eyes dont need to use the muscles to focus, which undoes the training. He did say he had his eyes hurting as well as his head in general, so should be prepared for that.
