they used to have to do a lot more, back when I worked a Denny's in the 90s we used to have to make the dressings(from scratch) prepare the syrups, prepare all desserts and salads and milkshakes, soups and whatever I would dominate entire sections (about 40 people) working the way I described above
I was taking home roughly 120-200 a night by dinner rush
But food was cheaper then, so the money flowed like spice for even cheap diners
It WAS a skilled job, even if it didn't take much skill, the only way as a man you could match the fatty boom boom of the highest earning waitress was by being elite at your job.
Too bad due to my youth I spent it more than I saved like an impulsive retard.
