Why are gypsies hated? They seem really cool and right up /pol/s alley. I mean, the ones in America are assimilated, pic related. Even the ‘bad’ ones in Europe at least

Romanians used them as slave labor and then tossed them out on their ass but then also realized that they could use them as a front-cover for their own shady affairs
most "gypsies" that would be free-roaming in Romania are more than likely handled by the Romanian police
it's a combination of low-education, low opportunity and a fascist state like Romania that holds them down
it's very convenient because Romanian police have been found to manage stuff like entire prostitution rackets and up to organized groups that steal from abroad so scapegoating the gypsies and blaming it on them is very useful for Romania
