No NPC's, so there go most of the "Honest" ones.
Sane + honest, oof, We're probably down to the tens of millions AND we'd have to define "Sane" and since different groups people have different definitions, we'd probably end up with a tiny, very filtered out community.

"Actually worthwhile" Again, has to be defined, what are we looking for here, the perfect workers, scientists, builders, soldiers?

Too many filters, you'd probably end up with a very small community of people, a million at most. For obvious reasons even the brightest minds out there and the elites would never want that.

As for people culling, Pointless wars, manmade diseases, psyops, you know, the current methods, they seem to work well.

Both groups are needed for society to function, at least the way it is right now.
Farming at the current scales would be impossible (You gotta be a little psychopathic to raise tens of thousands of chickens in a tight space, I assume you know the details), mining (there goes the cheap African labor), general manufacturing beyond a point would also be impossible (You gotta be a little psychopathic to convince people to work 9/5 for monopoly money so they can use said monopoly money to feed themselves so they can work more...).

You'd basically kill off every world leader and everyone 3 positions below them in the chain of command, most business owners, most scientists and who knows how many more. I don't believe I myself can fully imagine the chaos that would follow.

At the very least you'd have to create a vaccine and spread it to a couple chosen necessary people, which would, well, centralize power even more. I'm definitely missing something here, but in short no you can't do without sociopaths and psychopaths.

Doesn't matter, genes degenerate over generations. Eventually we would be approaching similarity to what we have now. I'd be happy to see a culling but it still won't do anything.
