Regardless, what I said is that a king doesn't relieve tyranny not that a king is the only source of tyranny.

Well did any British kings ever hold any power in your opinion? What did they do to prevent what I think you implicitly agreed is the rather sorry state of modern Britain? Or Canada for that matter?
I appreciate the point that if we were ruled by angels an absolute monarchy would be perfect but that's not the case.
