I wanted to watch E:TLB but the narration is super cringe, like a barely educated guy struggling to sound smart, which was a massive dissapoitment because from what I can tell it's got the important messages. It was so bad I wondered if it was designed to turn people away

Check out "American Experience: The Circus" PBS documentary directed by Sharon Grimberg, that explores the history of the circus in America. Yes I know its PBS but it is not kiked or pozzed, its one of the more fascinating things Ive EVER watched.
