Every Jew reads the Torah in full, over the course of each year. That said, most reformed synagogues dismiss most of what they read, saying it doesn't apply to themselves because reasons. The most liberal synogogues don't even recognize that God is real.

Imagine a people so duplicitous, that their entire existence is trying to figure out ways to trick their god, and be disobedient toward them.
