I watched a really in depth series on this it's fucking nuts how it went down. They had absolutely nothing on any of them at any point. There was no case whatsoever and there never was. One of them, I think the one in the middle, was a literal retarded kid and just said whatever the cops told him to say. I don't think he even understood what was going on or that he was being charged with murder or anything the guy had a sub room temperature IQ. They were picked because they were the fucking weird kids in town, which they were. There was never a shred of evidence on any of them.

Alford plea was the best they could get to be released.

One of the three did not want to take the plea, but because one of the other three was having bad health problems not treatable in prison, they took it to get out because it was the best and perhaps the only option available at the time. I believe the plea left the state off of the hook for any future litigation involving their case as well as giving the state any reason to not pursue any investigations into other suspects.

Look at evidence photos a tire thumper is photographed in the apartment of an early suspect and the apartment is right there at the drainage ditch. A driver for over a decade and the tire thumper never ended up in my home. No reason for it. This guy worked at a truck stop and was said to walk thru those woods to get to and from work etc. If he had one thumper who's not to say he had another. But this tire thumper of his was also on an evidence sheet and had an ID#. What I never located was what tests or processing was done to this item in evidence it was just logged. It's important to know what was done with that piece of evidence.
Same theory of weapon used, the stepdad that was a suspect also drove for a living but not an 18 wheeler. He would also use a tire thumper. But he would have no reason to have it not in his truck unless slip seat regularly, which is possible. So it doesn't rule out could be something he would have.

My opinion on this matter is somewhat far-fetched, but I'll share it anyway.

I think that the three of them are not entirely guilty, but not entirely innocent. That town is rampant with eccentric wiccans, and others that are involved in underground human sacrifice-like activities. My guess is that the three children stumbled upon some sort of night time ceremony. So, they were hog-tied. The ceremony went too far, and they died by accident. Nobody could think of a good story for why three kids died that would be plausible, so they pinned it on the West Memphis three.

Cont on tire thumper... The boy that made a statement him and his buddies would hide in the fort and saw men doing sexual stuff in those woods. A glory hole with a truck stop literally right there bet your own ass that was known because it would be broadcast on the CB so the truckers that want to knew where to get at it. Can read every bit of the case files with photos online. The interrogation is a lot of LE talking and the boy that confessed saying very little at all. He'll start talking and the cops would interrupt him. It looks very one sided and is interesting.
