Europe has no good means to produce enough food to reasonably field sustainable population and in the insolvency of the military command structure no good way to prevent getting shit steamrolled by Russia or the Middle East because the populace is entirely disarmed and has no familiarity or training with weapons systems.
Hillbillies in America literally have the best growing land in the world, shit tons of guns and have been living off the land for 300+ years. Add to that you can't just show up and invade because the terrain is fucking awful to navigate and contains just as many ecological hazards as Australia.
