How many human rights taken away, how workers' rights taken away, how authoritarian power grabs, how many threats to our allies, how much economic decline, how much science and education destroyed, and how many preventable deaths caused by the gutting of social safety net is it gonna take for us to finally grow a backbone and resist? Why are we passive with the total destruction of our democracy? They told it can't happen here, yet it's happening right before our eyes right now, and we're cheering it on. It's time for a general strike. It is the most effective non-violent form of resistance. We need to bring the economy to its knees to force this fascist regime out of office immediately.
