This was completely preventable. Cutting NOAA's budget won't even make a dent in the deficit, and will just worsen weather forecasts. And before you invoke the private sector America worships, not everything needs to be done to make a profit. Why should you have to pay a subscription to know when things like severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, and floods are coming or wait for the weather channel to come on TV?
