the ones i saw were quite different from us
they were all very swarthy, like to the point where if i see a blonde haired Ukrained i'm now assuming he's a Russian in denial
the women squatted in public squares and spoke on their phones all day (wasn't expecting them to "make themselves useful" or anything, they WERE refugees after all, but i consider spending all day in public places where everyone can see them a darkie habit)
they always left a mound of candy wrappers and cigarette butts where they left
they often yelled at and beat their kids in public
but then they never complained or acted uppity towards the locals
the kids were generally well behaved and kind, not like darkie hellspawn
again i don't think it's reasonable to expect them to work and it's okay to be frustrated when you're forced to leave your home
but even so, they were clearly from a very different culture
(all came from Kiev btw, middle class families is what i'm guessing based on their cars)
