Not in my experience, except I tried to rent an apartment in Thailand and after a confused and awkward exchange realised that they didn't want to rent to foreigners.

I have traveled to a lot of non-white countries and never had any problems anywhere. Most of it was at least a a decade ago though, India was two decades ago. There has grown a lot of anti-white sentiment since then however, I would be a little more cautious these days.
