Traveling to countries (especially Europe) is overrated. "Ooooh dude I get to see a bunch of old buildings and pay up the ass for food." It's better if Americans just stayed within their borders for vacation purposes as we have everything we need.

The south of France and the north of Spain is the best part of Europe. Go hiking in the Pyrenees. The Coliseum in Arles is better than the one in Rome.

But food is more expensive in Murica. Unless you travel to some place silly like Switzerland.

We have Aldis and Lidl in the US too. That's where all the poor people and Euros tourists shop.

I guess. Nothing like wandering around Paris at 7 in the morning nibbling on a croissant and breathing in history. Maybe it’s that corner junk shop that may be selling classic Americana at an affordable price or staring up at an almost 2000 year old coliseum where the meddle of men once was tested and blood flowed in the streets. It’s visiting king Louis XIV digs or seeing where Marie Antoinette spent her last years hidden away in squalor behind a thousand soldiers under the constant watch of two soldiers prior to her execution. Maybe walking the ramparts of one of many of the abandoned German castles. Travel is good. Just don’t be annarse about it. Respect local customs, keep a low profile and be eager to absorb.

Cappuccino with a pastry in the morning watching locals go about their business.

Fuck, I loved the simplicity of mornings in Europe. Great food, good company, beautiful architecture. West Germany, Italy, Denmark, France, Amsterdam, Switzerland. Giving Europe a break as they have an issue with tourists but plan on Spain, Greece in the near future.

Europe is truly beautiful, as is the rest of this earth. Leave your stupidity at home.

Everytime Ive ever met an American theyre always doing some crazy shit like visiting 9276419731 cities in 4 days.

How the hell is that pleasant. Just rent a house by the beach somewhere and enjoy 1-2 weeks seeing that one place.

Whats even the point of a vacation if its more stressful than your job?
