I keep getting shown videos of pastors (I assume they’re dispensationalists because I’ve been to mainline protestant churches and they’re not like this) who promise their congregation that the end is coming soon and Christ is coming back.

Realistically, what is stopping these people from getting conned by some random jew LARPer and causing a giant global political headache for everyone else on Earth?
