Does professional fighting or MMA really have the best chance of translating to the streets?

Yes, this is political if you're in a scenario in which you have to defend your family from rioters or feral blacks or SHTF plus UFC and Trump go hand in hand.
Obviously I would say you beat 9/10 people, but it doesn't mean you will win or translate well against every opponent because street fights are chaotic and 0 to 100 plus weapons and a litany of other variables. it also makes me lol at people that think palm strikes or Jewish women's self defense classes think they can really hit a trained fighter with his chin tucked or trained for what to do if their strike misses. I could see maybe groin strikes or ear strikes being effective if you haven't trained for them, but street fight training is a different animal.
