It's used in all sorts of ways.
Some call those who oppose offshoring and mass migration "the woke right". Because it's like DEI for a country's own citizens. So in this way the idea that governments should represent the interests of their own people is branded as "woke". Well they won't say it like that, they'll claim that ackshually mass immigration and laissez-faire free trade is good for you but instead of proving it they'll just call you "woke right" for opposing it.

They've replaced religion with politics so when something bad happens to people they don't agree with it is because of some abstract divine justice because they didn't vote a certain way. There is no way of knowing if government services could have stopped a once in a generation flash flood but there is a strong belief it would have.

IIRC there was another study where they were asked if an outside doctor had diagnosed them and mostly liberals said their doctors had diagnosed them with a disorder. It makes sense desu, if you're mentally healthy you're not in the mood to shake things up while if you're mentally ill..
