Like its ugly, equally inbred cousin-sister California, Texas is something of an American experiment. Whereas California is an experiment in Democrat utopia ie multi-millionaires with a savior complex ruling over room temp IQ having shitskins, Texas is an experiment in ruggedness, individualism, and independence. They both fail miserably at their goal.
If you've ever lived in this shit-heap of a "state" you will notice a severe lack of infrastructure. There are almost no streetlights, the highway entry/exits were designed by crackheads, and safety-nets you would expect in a first world nation simply aren't there. While they think they are cowboys, they are more akin to the guy that goes camping once and almost dies. They are woefully underprepared for nature, and Texas frequently reminds them of such. The worst part is they are so incomprehensibly retarded that they don't even recognize how dysfunctional they are. They are in fact proud of their ignorance.
You may remember a recent winter storm which swept through Texas and shut down their entire electrical grid, killing dozens of people in the process. This flood is simply another tally in the long list of fuck ups and failures to prepare for nature here in Texas.
Always remember Texans: you are, in fact, just the Republican version of California, you stupid redneck motherfuckers.
