I am not impacted by this at all as everyone close to me is a citizen including both my parents nor does it bother me much in the sense that for so many years I have seen all my family look down upon other Hispanics while they come from the same exact situation but get the perk of being Cuban. Almost no Cubans get deported when you show up at the border, you are allowed in legally and typically within a year can get a green card then often times they even end up traveling back to visit Cuba at that point. My dad came to the USA on a boat in the early 90s. If gop leaders met my dad a dark Cuban they'd probably think he's some illegal and he admires trump and insane amount.
