As a relative of mine works in this industry and was considered to work as CEO for Ritter-Sport (they're family owned, but .. long story):

- Ritter Sport is dogshit chocolate lmao but they have shitload of flavors and good marketing
- Lindt is good chocolate, but they add a vanille-flavor which true chocolate connaiseurs don't like but the masses appreciate
- Ferrero (Kinder) adds even more vanille-flavor than Lindt (but worse chocolate), which is why kids love it so much.

Best chocolate? Price wise - the "good" chocolate you can buy in Lidl/Aldi are better than Lindt, but have a bit less vanille flavor so they taste different.

Sprüngli (from Sprüngli&Lindt) is the mature version of Lindt - better chocolate, less vanille flavor.
