The bathrooms. That is literally it imo. I travel a lot, so I very much appreciate the size and cleanliness of their bathrooms. They are always spotless, private, and no wait. The food is OK. The best thing they have is the beef jerkey they sell fresh out of a deli case by the pound. They have like 30 different flavors. Oh, and they have the best deal on bags of ice.

HOWEVER! Me and many other people can't stand how excited some people get when they're near a bucees. Standing around taking photos, being in the way. You can even watch YouTubers get yelled at in like half the videos by someone just trying to use the bathroom, because they're standing out at the bronze bucee showing off their beast burrito to a camera like an asshole.

I went on a road trip to the beach and we stopped in Tennessee for the night and the people there were easily the fattest I had ever seen. I watched 4 generations of fat women waddle out of the elevator first thing in the morning, each fatter than the last. We went to the Bucc-ees across the street and the clientele looked exactly like this.
I don't want to hate the concept of the place but the clientele makes me think twice. It's just a temple dedicated to grotesque American consumerism.

The thing that OP is not mentioning is that a lot of bucees open up in very VERY rural areas. These people in Virginia probably all live in Harrisonburg and it doesn't look like they have a lot going on. Give them a break. And bucees is not peak consumerism. You can use the bathrooms for free.

Qt is OK. I prefer Casey's. But none have the bathrooms that bucees has. There's actually a bucees competition out of Chicago. Their hot dogs are so thick you feel kinda dirty when shoving one in your mouth. Wallys is the name. They sell a pretty stellar Chicago Beef. In Colorado I like Maverick, it's a newer thing, probably for California or something, but they have great burritos.
