If you haven't heard yet, Joerg Sprave (The Slingshot Channel on YT) has created a new CO2 powered six shot top-break dart firing revolver *specifically* to comply with German airgun laws.

In response to law abiding citizens trying to comply with the law, the German government decided to preemptively ban his product before it hit the market, forcing him to divert the entire initial shipment that was intended for Germany over to the US in order to hopefully recoup his costs.

If complying with the law does not protect you from government abuses, then there is no point in complying.

Also, if the law was originally written how it is currently being enforced, would it have become law? That level of disarmament is akin to the disarmament enacted after ww1.
