It is good for a nation to be Christian if it is ruled by Christians and protected from anti-Christian forces. t is very easy for Christianity to convert pagan populations because it does in fact lead to a better way of life. It takes time though, which is why a lot of "Christian" countries in the Third World are still miserable and corrupt, because they have not fully embraced the teachings over thousands of years. Prior to mass migration you were better off having everyone in your area be Christian, and the truth is that thoroughly Christian societies are the best ones. But Christianity doesn't work against Jewish thinking, and Islam has that same way of thinking too. This is an unprecedented situation and ultimately it will require some kind of new way of thinking to preserve the society as is while keeping those same values.

"Loving your enemies" means refusing personal vengeance, showing mercy, and overcoming evil with good (Rom 12:19-21). It does not mean allowing evil to rule or surrendering your people to destruction. God calls us to fight evil righteously, with truth, justice, and restraint, not hatred. Defending family and nation is not hate, it's love. But vengeance and cruelty corrupt the soul.

That's not the problem of evil. It's pointing out that Jesus used to perform miracles and help people, then he stopped and it's never questioned why. He could feed thousands of people with a couple fish, but feeding a small village in Africa is now beyond his abilities. Either Jesus had a change of heart or the stories about his miracles never happened. God is supposedly unchanging, so that leaves us with one option.
