BRICs summit. We've finally reached the date where they will start enacting moving away from the US dollar. This is what WW3 will be about.

Every political thing going on for the last couple of months was about BRICs. Literally about nations moving away from the dollar. The Federal Reserve is the #1 problem of our time.

It is a meme. Xi isn't even attending, the best currency of the bunch, the RMB, still composes less than 2.5% of all global currency reserves. The Chinese, whenever they get the chance, convert their toilet paper RMB to USD. I see it wherever I travel: most of the people at currency exchanges are Chinese, KEK. One time in Auckland I saw a line from a currency exchange that stretched at least 200 feet. Everyone in line, except for maybe 1-2, were Chinese.

Solly chang, it's King Dollar to you, KEK.

Yet inflation has dropped since Trump took office, and the Treasury is on pace to take in about $300 billion in tariff revenue this year (when the last year under Biden was $100 billion). Try again muztard, KEK.

That's a completely different thing.
They're saying they will add tariffs if they give up the dollar. If enough countries do this your economy is fucked.
If the economy is fucked people are fucked.
If people are fucked they can't buy expensive shit yet he wants to add 100% tariffs of cheap stuff.
Either way nothing will happen as always.
Mutts will get fucked sooner or later but not like this.

What percentage of your tourists are Chinese? Do the Chinese still use cash more often than tourists from other countries? Do their credit card systems function less well in your country than those of tourists from other nations? Also, there are two sides to every transaction. Someone is *selling* every dollar they are buying.
You might have an interesting observation here; I am not going to call this a cope. Additional context is required to interpret it though.
My understand at the macro level is that China has been converting it's reserves to gold.

The tariff threat will disincentivize (but obviously may not stop) individual countries from switching off the dollar. It will prevent defection one by one, but you're right that it's suicidal if done en masse.
The dollar is done worldwide. It has been since Nixon closed the gold window, and it's been accelerated since the US decided to seize assets from Russian nationals as a means of war. Now all we can do is attempt to slow the tide.
Geopolitical uncertainty is still our biggest weapon though. US markets will continue to attract dollar denominated capital as long as worldwide security is uncertain and we are militarily dominant. That ends the moment supercarriers start sinking though.
