They said Earths rotation started to accelerate in summer 2020 and is ever increasing
They predict fastest speeds so far to occur in three events in the following dates:
9. July (soon), 22. July and 5. August
So called synod which means "sun day" is 24 hours, an Earth rotates a full rotation infront of sun in 24 hours.
HOWEVER this was 19 hours some 330 million years ago. Then Earth rotation went slower and finally we reached 24 hours.
SEEMS LIKE 24 hours will start to shrink and we hit 19 hours again, in following 100 million years.
In those three mentuoned dates, moon is as far away from Earth as is possible and this too has an effect on rotational speed altough its a temporary effect (moon slowes down Earth a little bit, if there was no moon, the length of day would naturally be 23 hours instead of 24 without talking into account any other factor)
