Most modern jews are of mostly European descent, how are they not considered white? It doesn't make any sense.

They don't consider themselves white. Whoopi Goldberg once said the holocaust wasn't about race because it was two groups of white people and jews kicked her off her show and forced her to apologize. It doesn't matter if you think they are white, they view you as a different tribe.
