>>509686036 (OP)He was a bit of a retard who failed to adapt luftwaffe tactics for the new war; one of his most famous blunders was not allowing fighter escorts in the battle of britain to detach from their bomber flights and actively meet the enemy. This WW1 fat dinosaur demanded that the fighters remain in formation with bombers and match their speed just like he did in a biplane in 1918. This allowed the RAF to decimate the He111s with altitude and speed advantages, the escorts were always starting off from a worse position.
There are numerous giant tactical blunders where he played either a direct or indirect role but the biggest one is towards the end of the war, where due to a personal grievance, he dismissed Adolf Galland and caused the Fighter Pilot's Revolt. The war was pretty much over at that point but it's exemplary of how much of a drag this fat retard was.
