is this the most high-energy revolutionary of the last 100 years?

I hiked up to his field hospital in the mountains of Cuba a while back, was pretty cool.

There were still schools he helped establish running. My dad, a literal baby boomer kept telling me about his murderer ways, but the locals sold Mr a different story.

Shit on him all you want but when you study his background you come away impressed with his commitment to his beliefs. You realize he could've lived a comfortable based life as a Dr. in Argentina but instead chose to try to lift up the poor in Latin America and even around the world. He was willing to die being a revolutionary. You don't have to agree with Communism/Socialism or any other isms to respect a privileged man who puts his ass where his mouth is and doesn't just sit around saying "Why doesn't someone do something." He did and he died. I don't agree with his politics but I respect him. Not a pussy. I respect men no matter the politics if they're willing to die for their beliefs.

One of the first problems they faced is that they didn't even know how to grow potatoes efficiently, after the agrarian reform. Turns out industries require know-how, and highly competitive expertise, in order to be efficient enough to supply entire populations.

Définitely high energy.
Stalin too btw.
I respect both as CHAD men of principle, despite them following wrong doctrines.
