Because those who cross do so to literally abuse the system, some do end up working on construction or gardening, but it's still a plunder, the amerindians that cross are people who have nothing and live in some sort of ghost town where nothing will ever happen. They are quite skilled somewhat since they tend for themelves in every way, but they don't have much smart genes, I've found some of them to be the most noble people I've met, stil the vast mayority are quite self serving and all of them have some kind of resentment against fairer skinned people at least when they feel looked down upon

All the light skinned mexicans are doing well enough that it would not make sense for them to go pick fruit in the US for 4 dollars. Its mostly the very bottom tier of their country who come here, its never the mexican intellectuals.
