From what I see he was simply opposed to secrecy, as a mentality, and even references closed societies.

I'm not sure if I'll ever have time for the book, to all that recommended it, and in this day and age, we need sort of hard truths presented simply. Books are easy to.. manipulate.

I mean it's probably a good starting point unless I'm getting shilled, but I'm looking for the end, or rather connections downwards in history to ground 0.
I'm looking for motive, like >> above.
