Can you actually prove the policies had any impact on the death of these people? From what I've read they got a warning like half a day beforehand, evacuation orders 3 hours prior and then a flash flooding happened. Ontop of that they were staffed with 5 people (apparently it's normal to have 2 people on staff). Further the cuts are going to take effect in october with the only funding having been cut so far being for research. So how exactly have "bad policies" killed these children, which policies are you talking about?
