I think it will depend how it goes and how he directs it.
If he sticks to his statement of just targeting specific senate races and primaries then ironically he will end up funding a lot of the same people as Trump, the occasional random loser, and the odd lolbert Trump can’t work with like Massie. Which means he maybe picks off less then a dozen seats and now congress becomes a perpetual gridlock as some dumbass lolberts vote no on every bill because it isn’t 110% perfect and addresses all issues instantly. Probably to everyone annoyance and the party is dead in a cycle and those guys disappear or become republicans.
If he goes full vindictive retard then he will bleed money on spoiler candidates and do nothing retard “moderates” that appeal to nobody and either give dems easy elections or occasionally drain them drive of the few blue dog dems they still have.

He will probably end up eating what is left of the lolberts and the party dies out in a few cycles or gets taken over by somebody else

Trump uses everyone. In Musk's case Trump overstated the role DOGE would have in Trump's administration, apparently so Musk would support Trump with cash and on Twitter's algorithm

But when it came time for Trump to deliver, Trump stood for the status quo and told Elon "nah, not interested in that stuff anymore"
