Did anyone else become atheist/agnostic again but not in a cringe way?

I went through the whole Tradpill Christian arc, but came to realize that organized religion is entirely made up and am just agnostic.

Religion is like a consumer-grade version of philosophy. Realistically you can't expect everyone to ponder the world and come up with personalized deep and useful virtues on their own. Most people just don't have time for that and need something pre-made, like a drive-thru window.

It servers a purpose, but none of it is real.

I'm not bragging, just asking

it's cringe to spread atheism/agnosticism but it's really the more accurate viewpoint

You don't need organized religion to be spiritual.

Make one good argument to prove organized religion must be made up.

>spiritual
What does that mean anymore? Spiritual get applied to going for a jog, looking at a sun set or farting in pop culture.

humans already fall for cults regularly. Cults rising up is a global phenomenon with people having incredibly deep convictions to what we find out later are just men who know how to use psychology.

We also find similar behaviors around celebrities, athletes, and famous people. Being religious and herding around figure heads and prescribing them qualities beyond being human is a fairly regular occurrence. It also happened to George Washington.

If you learn about him, he was a fairly regular military man who wasn't that good of a general, but was VERY good at managing people to keep the war going. As a result, people made him into a messiah type figure after the revolution was over and almost everyone had a figure of him in their house.

Naturally, with this constantly happening, some people will hyper succeed in becoming global sensations, but at the end of the day it boils down to "trust me bro, this guy told me" again and again.

Why is the bible true? Trust me bro.

Why is the Quran true? trust me bro

Why is Kike book true? trust me bro.

If you bundle good advice into a book, couple it with a cult, people then think you're a messiah.

The spiritual is what animates you. Most people, including self described religious people, are profoundly lacking a spiritual life and are animated by temporal, insignificant things like money, sportsball, or consooming.
Think about what you would die for and then consider what your typical hylic would die for. In the end, that makes a far bigger difference than religious belief or lack thereof

realistically, the end purpose of humanity is a genetic calibration towards a higher more complex form of intelligent life.

spirituality is a nice aesthetic, but isn't really that important in the grand scheme

There are words for this already. This doesn't tell us anything about what "spiritual" is other than a nebulous term that gets thrown around

Spiritually inert people don't see themselves having kids as a way to serve the end purpose of humanity. They don't care about such a thing.

There's nothing cringe about disbelief. It's an opinion on a single subject. When those who make extraordinary claims don't take the burden of proof seriously, they relieve us of the burden of taking their claims seriously.

getting christpilled by jordan peterson is just about as cringey tbqh. there wasn't any sudden revelation that made god more plausible; you can't put the toothpaste back in the tube. the edgy internet atheists also recognised there's a value to being religious. richard dawkins is a "cultural christian", sam harris recognised there's probably an evoutionary benefit to religion, etc.
