Eventually, after ecological collapse and resource depletion, we will have to go back to the standard of living and way of life in Europe in the year AD 600. At least, however, we will have the consolation of an all powerful Christian Church.
Or, farming itself will be impossible due to soil degradation and we'll have to go back to hunter-gatherer lifeways. Return to Monke, so to speak

Why don't you go and do that. I'll keep using my modern equipment, knowledge and energy to sustain my lifestyle.

Collapse won't happen all at once. I suspect it will take a few centuries. John Michael Greer is a good theorist on the topic of catabolic collapse.
You do you, but future generations will not be able to do you because the metals will all be mined and scattered, the carbon fuels will all have been burnt, other resources will be gone, and, most of all, the ecosystem will be mostly dead. The current extinction occurring on earth is happening faster than the Permian-Triassic extinction event, the biggest mass extinction in the planet's history, which took about 90% of life forms with it.
Humans will likely survive what's coming, but we'll be living like hunter-gatherers in the Congo, Bedouin in Arabia, and, at most, horticulturalists (non-intensive food growers) in much of the rest of the world, if farming remains viable at all.

>soil degradation
Human waste should be used to fertilize soil, would solve many problems for many countries around the world, looking at you jeets.
Instead it is disposed of in a complicated and costly process. It's all cultural, almost superstition. If humans would get rid of all these aquired beliefs, it would easily be self sustainable to the point of overflowing abundance. But muh human waste must be flushed away in white porcelain bowls is the status quo and just typing this is so ridiculous it hurts. That's why we won't progress as a species, we don't have to, there is no real crisis. So it's good in a sense this happens which forces humans to rethink their behaviour

In america we have water treatment plants that cleans the water before releasing it back into the enviroment, they collect all the solid waste and after fermenting it into natural gas for power the solids are sold to farms as fertilizer, they have one the worst ways to die, airation tanks full of shit that you just sink and drown in

No ecosystem is "sustainable", perpetual equilibrium is impossible no matter how hard Christcucks try to sell you the idea of an eternal heaven unmoving and unmoved.

>farming itself will be impossible due to soil degradation
you have zero idea about farming. Even medieval paesants knew how to fight soil degradation.
Stop thinking you are some kind of erudite and scholar when you just cry retarded alarmist bullshit like "global warming" without any knowledge in the matter.
