It takes a certain amount of empathy and awareness to be left leaning. Left leaning types recognize their privileged background and high intelligence allowed them to get to where they are. They understand that had they not been born into a decent support structure (caring family, plenty of resources, safe neighbourhood, good access to schools, tutors, etc) and if they had not lucked out with intelligence (granted through random luck of the universe) that they would likely not have been as successful. These geek/nerd types can envision how much it would suck to be without the privileges they have, and want to make the world more fair for those who were born without such privileges via charitable social programs. Conservatives are more on a "let the chips fall where they may" mindset, where every circumstance that someone faces, they must conquer through their own will. And if you get unlucky, oh well, you shouldn't burden others with your own problems.

If you're someone who uses his head to analyze and think things through, you'll eventually come to the realization that left views are more rational and bring the most benefit in the short and long run.
Right wing twists your emotions like a woman. It's inherently a feminine position based on feelings. it doesn't give rational explanations but blames everything on some little, marginal element that it presents to you in a degraded, simplified, memetic form.
Take into account the left can't meme thing. It usually shows the left as being rational while the right relying on relatable and emotionally charged cartoons that don't require any thinking to understand.
Unfortunately, the world isn't rational, so the simple toddler like emotional positions of the right wingers affect the world more effectively than rational and evidence based arguments. This is the reason why right wing is popular: it's the retard's choice. And usually, the more conservative and right wing a country, the dumber it is.
Example: Estonia, where all the majort political parties are like different types of /pol/ users. It's a low IQ "white utopia" from which everyone dreams to get away. Some run off physically. Other take drugs. Other anhero. The country is alcoholic and drug using. The roads are shit and Russian tier. Military spending is more important than building the first modern hospital since the Soviet Union. Taxes are through the roof. The country is last or second to last in all economic markers. Worse than Romania. Schools suck. Universities produces doctors that can't diagnose a hear attack in front of their fucking face. But Estonians number one; Russian bad, drunks, druggies, shit, all the Russian /pol/ memes. Simple emotional propaganda is more efficient than a sober assessment of the situation. That's life in /pol/, the country, Which proves to me, every day, that right wing equals retardation.

Geeks and nerds aren't the same. Geeks are into some fandom or hobby while nerds are into academic stuff. If you are talking about nerds, then it depends on the type of nerd. Obvious those in academia need government money so they support fiscal policy that does that. In regards to social stuff, most nerds give zero shits because they hold no interest in it. Stuff like DEI is not necessarily supported by anyone that isn't black because academic types are really into integrity and merit (on a surface level). The trans stuff was seen as a fad in universities where a lot of people were waiting for it to die. The Israel protest stuff was done by the humanities crowds and not really bothered by STEM crowds.

I knew a pretty autistic geeky girl who was completely reliant on other people telling her was acceptable and expected of her and would believe anything if she thought she was supposed to trust the people telling it to her.
