Communism really has nothing to do with how /pol/ characterizes it or how the American internet (ie, sites like wikipedia) characterize it. Sorry. Its just worker's rights and class war no matter how much you try to tell people otherwise.

If we're talking about Marx, he never outlined a system. Almost all of his writing is a critique of capitalism and talking about a system after it and what it might look like. He never says "Do this bros!"

I like Paul Lafargue, the right to be lazy. I can wrap my head around that.
>>509810895
Pretty sure he points out revolutionary change is necessary, that capitalism can't be reformed

A centrally planned economy isnt a classless society. To reach a classless society you need technological innovation to slowly stop, which its been more or less doing since the peak of scientific innovation that was in 1870.
As long as technology evolves there will be a class of people that controls it due to early access, putting them above others. With time as knowledge spreads the advantage ends

The average person on /pol/ can't tell you what materialism is or explain dialectics. There is no use in discussing it.

These are concepts Karl Marx referenced one time in passing LMFAO. And in a semi-satirical manner. Like these aren't really a part of Marxism.

You don't have any evidence that Karl Marx was a mason. Not that it would matter either way. "oooooo, someone wants worker's rights he must be bad and part of a conspiracy!" nope. Thats not how conspiracies work. Conspiracies work for the opposite purposes.

The role of techology in causing class divisions
Skilled people rule over those who lack skills

Technological progress is what makes class division possible. People who control advanced technology rules over those who dont.

Let me flesh it out for you a bit
Ever heard of Armand Hammer? This man met every USSR premier from Lenin to Gorvachov
He could fly to Moscow and be received with a red carpet by the USSR premier, did so for 70 years
Armand Hammer provided technology to the USSR

Nope class divisions definitely exist outside of technology. Why don't you just stop? I know what youre trying to do here is put the blame for class divisions on something other than capitalism.

Theres more than one cause for class divisions, however all efforts to end such divisions are pointless as long as you have large inequalities in knowledge. Think iron age vs bronze age

Yeah actually its your shit capitalist economic system that you're trying to run interference for right now that makes the massive inequalities. We as communists do not believe in worlds in which there are no inequalities. We're just opposed to them being so pronounced under the capitalist system and as a direct result of your capitalist system.

Definitely like the technocracy movement, I feel like we are surrounded by open doors to make meaningful contributions, just the bar is very high and from what I saw, people with families who support them can chase science stuff even when they are very smart, but they don't really get paid much for the most part. so they are sacrificing all their time to make rich people richer, while paying for college... meanwhile I worked freaking retail and have more saved up with no debt, plus I probably had more free time to study stuff at leisure rather than in 'the system' which really has tried to indoctrinate millennials to be gay drones

for the way things are, and especially with the guys upstairs using Trump to sow discord and scapegoat productive people, they're gonna break a lot of stuff, dunno if US will be able to rebound after that, if stuff gets really crazy and e.g., California & Texas secede, and all the regions start balkanizing

>knowledge spreads
that's all fine and dandy however it's all an end in itself since you still need concrete material resources to go from the abstract world of knowledge to reality where the advantage manifests itself
>Elite peoples control skilled people
and elite people aren't skilled, and the reason why they're at the top is not because they control skilled people per se

>it's all an end in itself since you still need concrete material resources to go from the abstract world of knowledge
Knowledge isnt abstract. Knowledge implies access to materials, labs, machines. Knowledge needs to be put in practice to be known.
Theres a difference between an army and some bookshelf with some books on military science.
An engineer is a person that works in engineering, not someone that read some engineering books.
>>509813077
>and elite people aren't skilled,
They control skilled people and are often skilled themselves, or descend from skilled people. I'm talking about social phenomena that develops over generations, this doesnt change because some specific rich flunky doesnt know calculus

yes and access to material, labs and machines and so on (ie the advantage) is safeguarded and not handed out willy nilly, knowledge alone doesn't magically turn into access
>are often skilled themselves
they aren't
>descend from skilled people
they don't
>I'm talking about social phenomena that develops over generations
you're talking about wishful ideology abstract from reality
