In eons past, migration followed a predictable pattern, and never did counting the people matter nor alterad the outcome. For example, when all Jews were expelled, no one cared what percantage of population was Jewish. If they did, then it is more likely they would not have been. The one that set a range of between *1200* and 360 years ago for when they diverged, while also emphasising the limitations in methodology and sampling. Both of these reports just use the 360yr figure, and ignore the 1200yr figure. The only concrete conclusion the study can back up is that it was pre-Famine.
