The way this is being used though, inspiring Thiel and Vance, Vance saying he likes his ideas, is only to push against government regulations and the idea of workers and consumers getting a modicum of protection and representation in a representative democracy under a constitutional republic. Getting people on board with that when you're the head of government power means undermining that government power. They have no reason to show government can do real public good in competing, regulating, and setting standards for the private sector.
