>>509833471 (OP)Dread about the future is normal when you make bad decisions and realize that you’re going to have to pay for them soon.
If you only have a year of college left, you should already be actively networking and interning to find a career.
That’s what college is for. Not to get a degree. To get a career.
If you were actively on track to get a career right now, you’d be feeling fine even with $100k in student debt.
But you’re not on your way to a career.
You procrastinated and partied.
You played video games.
You jerked off.
You took naps.
You didn’t do a single second of proper networking or interning over your last three years.
And you don’t plan on doing any over the next year.
So in your gut, you know you’ll be unemployed out of college because of your own incompetent apathy.
And you want someone to blame.
Because blaming someone is always easier than taking responsibility for your own actions.
So sure, blame Trump. Blame the new bill. A person you’ve never met and a document you’ve never read. Surely now that you have a scapegoat, you can continue your apathetic quest toward accomplishing nothing, except this time you’ll feel vindicated when you fail, as you’ll be a victim of circumstance and not your own lack of conviction.
You make me sick.
