Does the taking more moral choice ever result in you gaining more money? Seems like those most willing to do away with morals are at an advantage when it comes to accruing money.

Not really. For the moral choice to be gainful, everybody has to act in the moral interest. When immoral people willing to do fucked up things like you describe, the moral choice becomes more often neutral to you and sometimes fucks you over. Not saying anybody shouldn't take the high road, just saying that you make the moral choice for its own sake.
