I've been doing some thinking about Russian covert ops, and I feel like there's a loophole no one's really considering, traitors in the foreign legion, let me explain...

Imagine someone from Russia, a team even, organized, clandestine, military grade, decide to go the ninja route, you know, real sneaky, Russians in the tapwater type of shit, they volunteer for the international/foreign legion of the defence for Ukraine, but secretly they're posing as the bad guys.

They've got all their western gear, multicam, rifles, sidearms, flags, everything is either in English or in a NATO supported language, if they can't acquire western weapons, they make their Russian weapons appear as though they are western, western looking recievers, chambers, bolt carriers, uppers, lowers, cartridges that have "5.56x39/51/whatever NATO" scribbled onto them but are actually 7.62xwhatever.

The purpose of these squads would be to just lead other "friendly" Ukraine supporting squads/Ukranian squads into death traps or dead ends.

Far enough away from other squads with a few members of an enemy squad?

Shoot them all in the head and then say you got ambushed.

In the kitchen with a whole bunch of other squads?

You all already ate your own rations, poison all their food and leave.

NATO satanic orgy with children being organized and they invite your squad?

Wait until everyone is passed out from drinking and then slit their throats (bring the kids to safety)

Seems like this should have been attempted more than a few times now.

The problem with fantasy like this is it requires a real war with real motivation to want to do shit like that.
These world stage wars could be evacuated cities scheduled for demolition and they decided to make it a super cool military operation for more money.
