Yandex is the only mainstream search engine that still finds illegal shit like torrents, ddl sites and streaming sites. All the other remove these hits from the search. But they are beginning to spam yandex with dummy sites that look a lot like the original, but none of the links work.

Use yandex, sometimes tineye finds stuff too. Jewgle is pure profit-optimized garbage designed to funnel you to websites, not find high res images.

It's still quite good for this all things considered. I get better results than on any other search engine. Only through typing keywords, not using any images. Only been using it for a few years though so i don't know how good google used to be. But i know that other search engines right now are worse. That includes yandex.
