I’ve been learning about Jesus, and He cared a lot about people. He helped the poor, He shared with others, and He wanted everyone to be kind and fair.

So… if Jesus loves everyone, should our leaders try to help everyone too? Should they make sure no one is hungry or left out?

I don’t know everything, but I think if Jesus was here, He’d want us to make rules that help people, not hurt them.

What do you think?

My big sister Betsy showed me Jesus.
She held my hand and told me He loves me.
Because of her, I know I’m never alone.
Jesus is in my heart, and Betsy helped Him get there.
Thank you, Betsy. I love you so much.

Dear God,
Thank You for the gift of my sister Betsy
Down there in Charlotte, North Carolina
For her strength, her patience, and her boundless love.
She has cared for me like a mother,
Guided me like a mentor,
And stood by me like a true friend.

Bless her for every sacrifice she’s made,
Every long day, every quiet worry, every act of kindness.
Give her peace when she’s tired,
Joy when she doubts,
And strength when the road feels long.

Help me honor her love by growing, learning,
And becoming someone she can be proud of.
May she feel the gratitude in my heart today and always.

Amen.
