In general, if you are over the age of 22 and still use a debit card instead of a credit card you pay off in full every month, you are financially retarded.

I think Chime is just an online bank that makes it easy to open a new account. Not sure if their clientele is more black/brown than traditional banks, but I'm sure it's most popular with Gen Z than Baby Boomers, which would make it more brown.

Get yourself euthanized. Be sure to put it on a CC with minimum payments too.

Every local credit union I ever used was worse than my local banks. Had one that was for educators only when I worked at the county high school. No fees! No minimum balance! High interest rates!
Not 6 months later they closed my account and kept my money. Worthless kikes.

I bank with Chase since they have the best rates. I did open a Chime account for the balance thing. Don't use it otherwise though.

a CC is better for use with hotels. they also give incentives, usually points or cashback. debit card is very bad to use with hotels, because the incidental hold takes much longer to get returned to you. if you don't ever see yourself checking into a hotel then it doesn't matter.

why? it's nothing to fear as long as you don't max it out, and as long as you can pay back the balance. i have multiple cards and use them sparingly. as with all things, it's about moderation and self control. check out more vids that explain the benefits like cash back and ease into it.

i've been cash-back maxxing this year and loving it. only use maybe $200 max out and pay it back without getting charged more than $2 in interest. as long as the cashback is more than what you pay in interest, you're winning. it's also safer than using debit card which if stolen can drain your entire checking account.

>NOOO stop promoting credit kikes and debt!!!
yeah yeah i used to think that too. but now i've learned how to use it correctly.

>b-but why would they want you to use their CC? what do they get out of it?
aside from the obvious interest and late fees, they get a small % transaction fee every single time you use the card, so they love that. that is enough for them and that is why they push your use of their card.

If fraud occurs on a debit card, you're out the money until the dispute is settled. For credit cards, you're IMMEDIATELY reimbursed the moment you dispute. You're only recharged if the dispute doesn't settle in your favor (which is rare).

On a credit card you have a full payment cycle to pay it back before you accrue even a penny of interest. So basically you extend your income by 30 days. If you're smart, you'll have money in a money market earning interest.

Credit cards often extend warranties by an additional year, too.

Lastly are reward points. Can get 1 to 5% of your purchase back as points you can use to pay off your future account balances.

I had my debit card number stolen and a couple thousand dollars charged. It took about two weeks of fighting to get that money back. I had nearly simultaneous charges, both over 1000 miles from where I lived, but the bank didn't want to believe it wasn't me making the purchases.
I had a fraudulent charge on my credit card once, too. I called them to let them know I won't be paying for that charge. They mailed me a new card the next day and that was the end of it.
