I think people who complain about this kind of thing are just fixated on bagging a celebrity or something. The dating market is terrible for men. The real problem dating 30+ is not so much their looks. So long as they don’t get fat and don’t go out in the sun, women will look good enough into their mid-40s; these two criteria are admittedly tall orders. The problem is that you have a narrow window to decide whether or not you want to have children. A lot of younger guys are understandably weary of making those kinds of commitments because of how bad divorce laws are.
